The crab's
thought (September 2001 - approximate and reduced translation from Italian) What the crab thinks in his hole-garden. |
All people are speaking about the twin towers destruction.
A new commonplace is that nothing will be the same in the future, after that
day. What caused that massacre? I think that it was the human ferociousness.
Religion, we recently discovered this truth, can be a strong reason of such
as crimes. But no less strong reasons can be money, power, profit, anger
and silliness in every location of the world. But what really changed in
the world after that day? For example we are refusing to fly. But now the
Police controls are more efficient and we should be more sure. There are
some old problems: aircraft maintenance is not enough reliable and some assurance
devices are not very sure. If you are going to crash on the ground or on
the sea, you needn't an oxigen pump or a marine life-saver. You should need
rather a parfashute. But this kind of problems never deterred the passengers
from flying and running after their businesses.
